
The Mulu Caves 2024 Expedition was the 33rd Anglo-Sarawak Expedition to Gunung Mulu National Park and operated in the field between 1st and 22nd November 2024. Teams were based at Park Headquarters and at Camp 5 in the Melinau Gorge. Aims were to continue the exploration of the northern end of Whiterock with the possibility of finding an entrance into the Melinau Gorge. Also to continue the scientific programme and to laser scan passages within Clearwater Cave. Further work would be carried out to try to establish a connection betwen Lagangs Cave and the Easter/Racer Caves. The expedition was assisted by National Park Management, staff and local people.
