The Mulu Caves 2022 Expedition was the 30th Anglo-Sarawak Expedition to Gunung Mulu National Park and operated in the field between 31st October and early December 2022. This was to be the first expedition after the Covid 19 pandemic. The expedition was based at Park Headquarters with aims to continue exploration in caves at the southern end of the Park and to laser scan pasages in Clearwater Cave. Further work would be carried out to connect Cave of the Winds, Easter/Racer Cave and Lagangs Caves. An ambitious scientific programme was to be initiated. The expedition was assisted by National Park Management, staff and local people.
