Mulu Caves 2017-1 (May) Expedition was the 24th Anglo-Sarawak Expedition to Gunung Mulu National Park and operated in the field between 28th March and 6th May 2017. The expedition had three main objectives: David Nixon would lead a team to Hidden Valley to continue the exploration of Wonder Cave. Mark Brown would lead a team to re-establish a top entrance to the Creedence series and to investigate leads found during the 2014 expedition and Les Williams would lead a third team to search for a connection between Lagangs and Racer Caves.
The expedition was based at Park headquarters and was assisted by National Park Management, staff and local people.
